ABOUT THE ACADEMY
The Snowboard Academy of Klaudia Medlova was created with the aim of passing on many years of experience from the elite scene of freestyle snowboarding to every enthusiast of this sport. The aim of the academy is to help those interested to progress, regardless of their level. Our approach is aimed at all performance levels with an emphasis on:

preparation for the race
Snowboarding is far from just about medals and points, but above all about fun, camaraderie, a relationship with nature, about increasing movement intelligence, a healthy assessment of risk when gaining progress, and above all about the indescribable feeling of surfing on snow. Our academy is also based on these values.
OUR TEAM
CLAUDIA MEDLOVÁ
Klaudia was born in Liptovský Mikuláš. In her youth, she got into snowboarding through sports gymnastics. The most successful Slovak snowboarder ever performed the "Double backside rodeo 900 Weddle grab" as the first woman in the world. In addition, Klaudia was a multiple participant in the X Games and twice competed in the Winter Olympics.
Within the academy, he wants to pass on his rich experience to all those interested in snowboarding.
BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENTS:

2015 - Double backside rodeo 900 at the Nine Queens event (first and only female in the world)

Marek Hliničan
Marek is a native of Lipták, who lives snowboarding and various sports all his life. He is also from Liptovský Mikuláš and trained Klaudia during the most successful part of her career. He led the Slovak national team for many years and most recently worked as an assistant coach in the Chinese National Snowboard Big Air Slopestyle Team.
For two winter seasons, he worked in the private training program for freestyle snowboarding "Kirk's Camp" in Colorado, USA. He worked with the current stars of American snowboarding. Marek also wants to build on this experience within the academy.
He trained Klaudia during the most successful years of her rich career. As a coach, he accompanied her to the most prestigious events: X Games, Burton US Open, Dew Tour, World Championships and World Cups.
